Frida Sagmeister<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

My name is Frida and I am from Austria. I was born in the capital city, Vienna, and have lived there most of my life.
I studied English and American Studies and History at the University of Vienna, Trinity College Dublin and Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich. I am passionate about public history, cultural memory, and political education. I volunteered as a teacher at PROSA school in Vienna until June and taught history and political education to people with refugee backgrounds who want to obtain an Austrian school leaving certificate.

In my free time I hang out with my friends, visit museums or go to the movies. I also love hiking, reading, and traveling. I am always open to new experiences and love meeting new people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I would like to help all German language students to improve their language skills and explore Austrian and German culture. I look forward to my time at Bates College and am really excited to meet my students and share all things Austrian with them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
