Study abroad participation levels among students who have financial need tend to be lower nationally and at Bates.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Barlow Endowment for Study Abroad supplements the College\u2019s financial aid by providing $500 grants to students for incidental expenses that are not included in Bates\u2019 regular financial aid award.
