Absentee voting is open at the City Clerk&#8217;s Office, 2nd Floor of City Hall, Monday through Thursday during business hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The City Clerk will be holding extended voting hours at City Hall on Tuesday, June 2, 7:45am &#8211; 7pm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voters enrolled in the Democratic or Republican parties, or who are unenrolled, are eligible to vote.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to register or update your voter registration since you last voted, information about what to bring is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/harward\/voter-registration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the June 9th Primaries:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Maine has semi-open primaries, which also allows unenrolled voters (voters not enrolled in a political party) to choose which primary to vote in without switching into the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ranked Choice Voting is used in the primaries, so voters can rank candidates in order of preference instead of choosing one. Republican voters will see a competitive primary for Governor.
