COMMUNITY-ENGAGED LEARNING PROJECT GRANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Harward Center for Community Partnerships invites Bates faculty members to apply for Community-Engaged Learning Project Grants of up to $500 to support community-engaged activities in a community-engaged learning course. Such activities might include project materials, transportation, or guest speaker honoraria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These grants are available on a rolling basis.  Faculty may apply for one grant per semester.  If demand is high and funds are limited, preference will go to faculty members new to this kind of work.  We encourage faculty to apply prior to, or as early as possible in, the semester.  Faculty members with an interest in applying are invited to talk with Darby Ray, Director of the Harward Center first, to discuss their application.  Requests will be reviewed by HCCP staff, and faculty members will be notified as soon as possible after the submission of a request.  Grant recipients are expected to complete a brief Feedback Form at the conclusion of their grant-funded project. The requested feedback includes the project title, goals, and outcomes. Acceptance of the grant implies a willingness to complete the Feedback Form upon completion of the grant-funded project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
