For more information, please visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/campus-safety\/transportationservice-learning-shuttle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bobcat Express Community Engaged Learning Shuttles (CELS)<\/a>&nbsp;webpage on the Campus Safety website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Other Ways to Get Around<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you choose to use a means of transportation other than the shuttle, please bear the following in mind:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are close to downtown; you can often walk or bike (especially great with friends!) to your community partnership sites.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is a public bus service (known as the Purple Bus) in Lewiston\/Auburn; you can find schedules, fares, and route information online at<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.purplebus.org\/public\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">http:\/\/www.purplebus.org\/public\/<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you choose to ride in a private vehicle,\u00a0you assume\u00a0<strong>all<\/strong>\u00a0risks and insurance liability. Bates automobile insurance covers only Bates-owned and Bates-leased vehicles driven by a Bates-certified driver.
