The Health Services staff includes CMMC Family Medicine Residency Clinic medical providers, 3rd year medical residents, registered nurses, a medical assistant, a patient service representative, and Bates support staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of our medical staff are trained in providing family medicine. Providers with specialty areas, such as osteopathic manipulative medicine, acupuncture, or sports medicine will have this listed in their profile. When scheduling an appointment for a specific service, take a look at the providers who specialize in this area. She is responsible for working collaboratively with our partners at Central Maine Medical Center to support students in navigating the healthcare system and managing their medical needs on campus and directing the Office of Student Well-Being and the Well-Being at Bates program.&nbsp;Brenna received her Master\u2019s in Social Work at Smith College in 2020. I was drawn to family medicine because of the unique opportunity to help care for individuals throughout their lives and across multiple settings. My husband and I love to take our daughter and dog hiking. Through residency as a third-year running the inpatient medicine, obstetrical, and outpatient services, she discovered her enthusiasm for medical education and decided to pursue an academic fellowship in Addiction Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Clinical Areas of Interest<\/strong>: She is passionate about dismantling health inequities and expanding access for marginalized populations such as those living with SUDs, HIV, unhoused communities, and carceral histories. She is an advocate for the integration of harm reduction into clinical care and enjoys providing education on this evidence-based practice to colleagues, medical trainees, and patients. Moving into resident education felt like a natural step, sharing my experiences, and learning together as we adapt to the ever-changing world of medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My interests include dermatology within primary care, behavioral health integration, international medicine, substance use disorder treatment, and the exciting ways technology enhances our practice. Victoria received her Master\u2019s of Higher Education Administration in 2021, and has a background working with college students for more than a decade through Enrollment, Residence Life, and Student Engagement in Boston, Western MA, Seattle, and now, her home state of Maine. Victoria is passionate about resourcing students with medical, academic, and social supports during their undergrad experience, and creating opportunities for connection, belonging, and personal growth. She is currently working towards a second Master\u2019s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Lesley University in Boston, which she hopes to use in continued service towards students&#8217;
