How do I install an Administrative Network Printer on my computer?

Windows 7:

  1. Click on the Windows Start Button.
  2. In the Start Menu, click in the Search programs and files.
  3. Type in the following: \lincoln and press the Return Key.
  4. A list of all the Administrative Printers available to you will be presented to you in a Window
    1. Printers are named by the abbreviation of the building there are located in, the room number they are physically located, plus a sequence letter.
    2. Example: A printer in Lane Hall, RM 329 would be named LANE-329-A. Additional printers in that location would be represented by an incremented sequence letter.

  5. Find the printer you want to install and double-click on it to begin the installation. 

Mac OS X:

  1. Click on Finder to open the Applications Folder.
  2. Locate and double-click the App Self Service.
  3. Using your Bates Network Credentials, login to Self Service.
  4. On the right side of the Window, locate the Categories Menu and click on Lincoln Printers.
  5. A list of all the Administrative Printers available to you will be presented to you in a Window

  6. Click the Install button to install the printer.
