How to Zoom – Starting a Zoom Meeting (Web Browser)

To start a Zoom Meeting:

  • Access your Zoom Account by going to
  • On the Zoom Web Conferencing web page, click on the Just login to your account button.
  • From the Zoom Dashboard, click on the My Meetings link under the My Profile column.
  • From the Upcoming Meetings tab, click the Start button to begin your Zoom Meeting.
    • You will then be presented with a window with additional information, follow the instructions listed.

  • From the Chose ONE of the audio conference options window, click on the Join by Computer option.    
  • Your Zoom Meeting will now go live!
