How do I enable Two-Step Verification for my Bates DocuSign Account?

Activating Two-Factor Authentication for your Bates DocuSign Account:

  • Login to your Bates DocuSign Account
  • Click on your Profile icon, located on the top-right corner of your DocuSign window, located to the right of "Bates"
    • Your initials may represent your profile icon

  • From the drop-down menu, click on Manage Profile
  • Click on the Privacy & Security tab
    • You may be prompted to sign in with your DocuSign Password
    • You may then be presented with a Two-Step Verification window
    • Follow the prompts in order to continue with the login process

  • Click on the Two-Step Verification link
  • Enable Two-step verification by clicking on the slider button
  • Click on the Add Security Information button
    • If you would like a verification code sent to your mobile phone, click on the ADD button next to Verified Phone
    • Type in your Mobile Number
    • Place a radio dot next to Text Message
    • Click on the Continue button
    • A Verification Code will be sent to your mobile phone
    • Type in your verification code
    • Click on the Confirm button

  • If you would like to have a verification code sent to a different email address, click on the ADD button next to Email Address
    • Verify An Email Address by typing in your Bates email address or another email address
    • Click on the Continue button
    • Type in your verification code and then click on the Confirm button

  • Click on your Profile icon, located on the top-right corner of your DocuSign window
  • From the drop-down window, click on Log Out

Test the Two-Factor Authentication you setup for your Bates DocuSign account by logging in.
