Lee Philip J. Desiderio
Lee joined the Information and Library Services Team at Bates College in January 2001 as the Manager of Help Desk Services. In February 2011, Lee began to transition away from his passion of IT Help Desk Operations and began to focus his other talents of technology training and instruction to develop and lead an IT Training Program for Information and Library Services. Today, Lee is the Instructional Technology Manager for Information and Library Services at Bates College. He is responsible for the development and execution of IT Training and Learning opportunities for the Bates College Community.
Lee graduated from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine with a BS in Computer Information Systems along with his MBA. After working with that company for several years, Lee furthered his career by working for a nonprofit and then later in banking as a Help Desk Team Leader.
Lee resides in Portland, Maine with his partner Brian and his daughter. When he’s not at Bates, Lee enjoys spending time with his family and friends, day trips, taking in what Portland, Maine has to offer, spending time at the beach in the summer and vacationing to warm destinations during the winter.
