Living in a vibrant community
Office of Residence Life and Health Education
All first year students will live in a First Year Center, which consists of a group of first-year students living with an upper-class student, a Junior Advisor (JA).
JAs are resident peer advisors who work in close conjunction with Student Affairs to mentor and advise entering students on the academic and social dimensions of their college lives.
JA assignments are published on our website under the name of each first-year residence during the summer. Upper-class students transferring from another college will be housed in residences with other upper-class students.
