Special Topics in Gmail – Working with Labels

In this hands-on workshop participants will learn how labels in Bates Gmail is different from traditional email folders. Participants will learn how to create, manage, and use labels.

Ask the Expert Series – Bates Gmail Tips and Tricks

During this open forum you will have the opportunity to “Ask the Expert” any questions you may have about Bates Gmail. Want to know how to create a filter to automatically move your Staff messages to a Label and bypass your Inbox? Want to learn how to add some color or additional features to your Bates Gmail account? Or maybe you want to know the trick on how to login to another Gmail account without having to logout from your Bates Gmail account. Best of all you will learn some tips and tricks along the way!

What is Google Docs/Google Drive? In this hands-on introductory workshop participants will have an opportunity to learn and sample all of the components of Google Docs/Google Drive. You will be exposed to Document, Presentation, Spreadsheet, Form, Drawing and how to save files to your Google Drive account.

Webinar Wednesday’s – Working with Gmail Filters
Wednesday, February 27, 2013 – 10:15am to 10:45am – Virtual Online Webinar
With the use of filters within your Bates Gmail account, you can easily and automatically manage the flow of incoming messages. With the use of filters you can label, archive, delete, star, and mark messages as SPAM as they arrive to your Inbox. During this webinar you will learn how to create basic filters; edit and delete filters; and learn the difference between Labels and Move To. You will also learn about all the options that are available to you when creating filters and how to share the filters you have created.
