Because Bates has a three-year membership beginning in 2021, Bates faculty and students can request these materials via<a href=\"https:\/\/illiad.bates.edu\/illiad\/logon.html\"> interlibrary loan<\/a> at no cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CRL collection highlights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"s-lg-link-list-66799533\"><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/catalog.crl.edu\/search~S3\" target=\"_blank\">Historical newspapers<\/a><br>CRL&#8217;s collections include U.S. ethnic press selections like&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.crl.edu\/record=b1337562~S3\">Le Messager<\/a>, U.S. newspapers from every state, and international newspapers from around the world.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.crl.edu\/collections\/topics\/official-gazettes\" target=\"_blank\">Official gazettes<\/a><br>These are the legal newspaper of a country, or of an administrative part of a country, which publishes the text of new laws, decrees, regulations, treaties, legal notices, and court decisions<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/catalog.crl.edu\/search~S4\" target=\"_blank\">International dissertations<\/a><br>Though we have comprehensive access to U.S. dissertations via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.bates.edu\/Dissertations-Theses\">ProQuest Dissertations and Theses<\/a>, non-U.S. dissertations can be hard to acquire. In fact, you may be getting CRL materials without realizing, whenever you make a request for something they happen to have.
