He traveled to Washington state two summers with Pete Skelley &#8217;60, working as laborers in a cannery and on wheat fields.\u00a0During the summer of 1960 they handled transportation for the &#8220;Zerby Tour&#8221; throughout Europe. For many years Fred worked for Buxton Corp. and lived in Atlanta, eventually retiring to Maine. Fred is survived by his wife, Jane; three daughters, Jacqueline, Elizabeth, and Jennifer; and numerous nephews and nieces and grandchildren.
