He is board chair of the Delaware Blue Cross and board member of CareFirst, an affiliate&#8230;. <strong>Charlie Clark<\/strong> is still waiting for Bates &#8220;to get its act together&#8221; and publish his history of the College, which he finished more than a year ago&#8230;. <strong>Bob Crandall<\/strong> says he was delighted to note that Bates won a few football games last season&#8230;. For their 50th anniversary, <strong>Bill <\/strong>and <strong>Jean McLeod Dill<\/strong> returned to Norway, where they spent the first year of their marriage, with their four children and eight grandchildren, plus spouses and friends&#8230; <strong>Carol Goddard Reid<\/strong> finds their very large &#8220;life care&#8221; community with its three campuses and more than 2,000 residents like living in a nice resort hotel (in the middle of a corn field), full of interesting, friendly people. Harry&#8217;s favorite pastime is playing the nine-hole golf course, and Carol has taught several people to play mahjong&nbsp;in order to have someone to play with&#8230;. <strong>Dennis Okeke<\/strong> was honored by His Royal Highness Igwe K.O.N. Orizu III JP, the Igwe of Nnewi, by being presented a chieftaincy title last December. Also, his name is on the National Honors list of people awarded the Nigerian National Honor of OON by the Nigerian President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Dennis is surgeon-chief and medical director of the Eastern Nigeria Medical Center&#8230;. <strong>Jane Osborne Thurber<\/strong> self-published three books originally written as term papers at Westminster Theological Seminary 2001-03: <em>Jonathan Edwards Speaks to Philadelphia 2002 <\/em>is already selling in four bookstores in Lynchburg and online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abe.com\">www.abe.com<\/a>. A longer work comparing Edwards&#8217; preaching with Harry Emerson Fosdick&#8217;s Liberalism, and <em>Ancient Baptismal Pools and Their Implications for Today<\/em> (with pictures) are either available now or very soon&#8230;. <strong>Joel Price<\/strong> learned that <strong>Glen Collins<\/strong> lives in Arizona and is a golfer, so the two got together and played golf several times. He was unsuccessful in arranging a golf game with <strong>Lefty Faulkner<\/strong>&#8230;. <strong>Rolvin Risska<\/strong> and Marj spend half the year in Harpswell where his fisherman buddies keep him well supplied with lobsters and cod. They are in North Chelmsford, Mass., the other half of the year&#8230;. <strong>Barb Schenck Collins<\/strong> is still teaching at California Lutheran Univ. She&#8217;s been there 40 years. She is active in environmental work and in her study of the wildflowers of California. Barb&#8217;s Web site is ww1.clunet.edu\/wf. She also has a Web site for wildflowers and scenery of the Canadian Rockies&#8230;. Emphysema has slowed down<strong> Ellen Tapley Berrie<\/strong> somewhat, but she says the computer is her lifeline and recreation these days. She corresponds with <strong>Elaine Baraby Littlefield<\/strong> daily&#8230;. <strong>Elsbeth Thomes Hobbs&#8217;<\/strong> two books are now at the Bates Store an expanded version of <em>Poems from the Lake<\/em> (now in its third printing) and her new book, <em>A Craving for the Goatman<\/em>. She has recorded a CD for each book with all her poems&#8230;. <strong>Ronald Tiffany<\/strong> and Patricia still &#8220;burn up the rubber&#8221; going to Seattle to visit their younger son and his family. They like to vary the route on each trip&#8230;. <strong>Ruth Whittier Greim<\/strong> visits Denver twice a year to visit with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren there and enjoys her other daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren in California. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Reunion in 2006<\/strong>.<em> Got news?
