\nNext Reunion in 2001. Mert and\u00a0Pat Hemenway Poore<\/strong>celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August. Mert graduated from UMaine in 1945. Their grandson recently graduated as a lance vorporal from the U.S. Marine Corps at Parris Island, S.C., and is now at security school in Virginia. Their granddaughter is a first year student at Univ. of New Hampshire. We were sorry to learn of the death in February of Pat’s mother, who had celebrated her 100th birthday a month earlier…. We send our sympathy to\u00a0Myrtle Holden Birdsell<\/strong>on the death of her husband, Dale.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
