Grace Acton ’24, Museum collections Intern, will be presenting her talk “Into the Zooniverse: Crowdsourcing Data for the Bates Museum of Art Collection” during the Research in STEM panel at the Mount David Summit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grace has been developing a crowdsourcing site for the museum collections through Zooniverse, a platform devoted to citizen science. Per her abstract, “This platform will facilitate opportunities for art enthusiasts and members of the Bates community to write keyword descriptions of the nearly 10,000 objects in the museum collection.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
