She describes her work as drawing \u201cthe viewer into my world, encouraging contemplation and challenging our perception of the often thin line between reality and abstracted memory.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photographed at night,<em> Porch Dinner<\/em> captures Seidl\u2019s family dinner with a long exposure so each member looks like an apparition. Seidl alludes to the presence of people in their absence, creating contemplative images that are difficult to fully resolve and always dynamic and evolving.
