To support the public engaged in remote teaching and learning, the Museum of Art\u2019s permanent collection of over 8,000 objects is searchable online and available for viewing by appointment<\/strong>. Please keep in mind, the database is not complete and is an ongoing project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection\u2019s strengths include the Marsden Hartley\nMemorial Collection, modern and contemporary works on paper, select holdings of\npre-modern prints, contemporary Chinese art (particularly photographs),\nPre-Columbian art, African art, and works by Maine artists and artists of\nnational and international significance working in Maine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
