Previously, he was on the music faculty at Concordia University Wisconsin.&nbsp; Alan has performed with the Alabama, Baltimore, Dubuque, Hartford, and Portland Symphony Orchestras, the American Brass Quintet, the Isthmus Brass Ensemble, the King\u2019s Brass, and Ensemble ACJW of Carnegie Hall. Since 2015, he has participated in the Southeast Trombone Symposium Professors Trombone Choir, comprised of trombone artist-faculty from across the country. In addition to his work at Bates, Alan is a founding member of the Sequenza Trombone Quartet.
