Carolyn Gage, award-winning playwright and activist, will be joined by Bates students for a reading from her book Scenes and Monologues for Lesbian Actors at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3, in the Special Collections Room of Ladd Library.

Playwright Carolyn Gage, a longtime activist for women's theater and lesbian theater, will deliver a lecture titled "Lizzy Borden and Lesbian Theater: Axes to Grind" at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 2, in the Edmund S. Muskie Archives, 70 Campus Ave. The public is invited and admission is free.
