Barbin is the chairman, CEO and co-founder of Appirio, a technology enabled consulting firm that helps companies move into cloud computing platforms. Appirio is based in Indianapolis, has more than 1,250 employees across seven \u00a0locations worldwide, and is supported by the industry’s\u00a0largest crowdsourcing community of developers, designers, and data scientists.<\/p>\n
Appirio\u2019s clients include Facebook, Google, Amazon, Intuit, and The Four Seasons, among others. Founded in 2006, Appirio is the leading independent cloud consultancy in the world.<\/p>\n

Lisa Utzschneider ’90<\/p><\/div>\n
Utzschneider is one of the tech world\u2019s leading sales and advertising executives. As\u00a0the chief revenue officer at Yahoo, Utzschneider leads the company\u2019s sales and operations organization globally.<\/p>\n
Utzschneider joined Yahoo in 2014 from Amazon.com. She was\u00a0credited with building Amazon\u2019s advertising business into a $750 million annual enterprise. Prior to her six years leading Amazon\u2019s advertising efforts, Utzschneider spent a decade in various advertising roles at Microsoft, including general manager of the company\u2019s sales and accounts services group.<\/p>\n
Utzschneider has been honored in the Adweek 50, Business Insider\u2019s \u201cMost Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising,” New York Business Journal\u2019s \u201cWomen of Influence\u201d and Working Mother\u2019s \u201c50 Most Powerful Moms.”<\/p>\n
Utzschneider graduated from Bates in 1990 with a major in English. She also has a master\u2019s degree in public administration from New York University.<\/p>\n
