Presented by the college&#8217;s Christian Science Organization, the talk is open to the public at no charge.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Overton-Jung draws from a broad range of experience and research to speak about the impact of spirituality on individual awakening, activism and reform. She believes that personal thought and choice make a great difference not only to each individual but also to humankind, and that each person can make a significant contribution to human progress.<\/p>\n<p>Now based in Toronto, she has worked in Botswana as a Peace Corps volunteer and in Chicago as a third-grade teacher, inner-city social advocate and volunteer chaplain at a mental health center.
