The New York Times<\/em> interviews Men’s Health<\/em> editor Peter Moore ’78 for its story about President Obama “taking his argument for a health-care plan to a new place: Rodale magazines, where he or his wife appear on covers of Prevention<\/em>, Men\u2019s Health<\/em>, Women\u2019s Health<\/em> and the new publication Children\u2019s Health<\/em>.” Moore, who wrote the November 2008 Men’s Health<\/em> cover story on Obama<\/a>, followed up by pitching the idea of involving the Obamas in health-care stories in the Rodale magazines. Moore, an English major at Bates, says he approached his most recent Barack Obama interview<\/a> with a very clear point of view. “We\u2019re not bystanders,” he says. “The whole issue of health care in the U.S., it’s something that we have to feel strongly about.
