Cahn &#8217;96, of Belmont, Mass., will perform a senior recital assisted by pianist Frank Glazer at Bates College on March 16 at 8 p.m. in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall. The public is invited to attend free of charge.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The recital&#8217;s featured presentations will included the sonata &#8220;Undine&#8221; by Reinecke, a challenging 19th-century work for the flute and piano, and &#8220;Sonatine&#8221; by Dutilleaux, a modern French virtuoso selection.<\/p>\n<p>Cahn, a Bates College senior music major and graduate of Belmont High School, is the daughter of Janice Cahn, 57 Raleigh Road, Belmont, Mass., and Frederick Cahn, of Plainsboro, N.J. Glazer, artist-in-residence at Bates since 1980, served as a member of the artist faculty at the Eastman School of Music for 15 years.
