She remembers  hearing the word \u201cFulbright\u201d tossed around at Bates and thinking \u201cthat\u2019s only for straight-A students. That\u2019s for students from prestigious universities.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly a decade later, Schober knows better \u2014 thanks in large part to her own Fulbright Student award and experience that funded her master\u2019s studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
