The public is invited to attend free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>Under the direction of John Corrie, a member of the Bates music faculty, the choir will perform several unaccompanied motets by various Renaissance composers; three compositions by David Carpenter &#8217;94 with text by Emily Dickinson; and <em>The Requiem<\/em> by Gabriel Faure.<\/p>\n<p>Soloists for the concerts will be Marian Drake &#8217;99, soprano; John Shim &#8217;98, tenor; and Eric Cullenberg &#8217;96, baritone.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information, call 207-786-6135.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bates College Choir performs at 8 p.m. March 22 and 23, and at 2 p.m. March 24, in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall.
