Lindholm &#8217;35 heard remembrances from people who knew Milt as a father, mentor, admissions dean and friend: Karl Lindholm, Edmund Wilson &#8217;62, William Hiss &#8217;66 and Peter Gomes &#8217;65.<\/p>\n<p>Lindholm, who was recalled as a dean who could see students&#8217; potential even before they could themselves, died on Feb. 27 at the age of 98; his <a href=\"http:\/\/home.bates.edu\/views\/2010\/03\/01\/lindholm-obit\/\">obituary is here<\/a>.
