Anderson, of Redding, Conn., connected with Three Springs through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwoof.org\/\">World Wide  Opportunities on Organic Farms<\/a>, which allows people interested in organic gardening  to have a hands-on farming experience in exchange for room and  board. Anderson, who has used WWOOF for garden travel in Montana  and Kansas, tells the paper that she &#8220;really wanted to  explore my country and  get back to the earth&#8221; during her summer vacation.
