The Bates College Modern Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Marcy Plavin, will present its annual spring concert in a series of four concerts at 8 p.m. March 20 and March 22 (Program A) and at 8 p.m. March 21 and at 2 p.m. March 23 (Program B) in the Schaeffer Theatre, 305 College St.<\/p>\n

Unforgettably titled See Hear Frick & Frack! Guess what?…Chicken Butt: neat dances<\/em>, the performances will showcase 26 versatile dances in two progams — of 13 dances each — filled with conflict, humor, jubilation and ritual. Featured music includes works from such masters as Hadyn and Sweet Honey in the Rock.<\/p>\n Tickets will be $6 for general admission and $3 for seniors. Bring your ticket stub to a second performance and get in free.
