From moving belongings into residential halls, to baking gingerbread over a roasting campfire, from participating in a Zen retreat and outdoor service work on the coast of Maine to discussing (over a gourmet box lunch) Convocation speaker Paul Rogat Loeb&#8217;s <em>Soul of a Citizen<\/em>, first-year students eased themselves into life as college students.
