More readers are needed\u00a0on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Bates College education department and Center for  Service-Learning sponsor an annual \u00a0Martin Luther King Day Read-In at  Martel School. Student, staff and faculty volunteers\u00a0 are encouraged to  participate. Readers will share a book with a diversity theme with a\u00a0  4th-, 5th- or 6th-grade student.\u00a0The book will then be given to the  child to keep.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Carpools will leave the Center for Service-Learning, 161 Wood St., at  12:50 p.m. each day.
