For more information, please contact <em>erowley@bates.edu<\/em>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Since their modest beginnings as four guys driving around southern California with their gear in their cars, practicing wherever they could steal a space, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coldwarkids.com\/site\/mineisyours\">Cold War Kids<\/a> have always exhibited two qualities in their music: intense passion and emotional truth.<\/p>\n<p>The band, which has been featured at top U.S. festivals from Lollapalooza to South by Southwest, released <em>Mine Is Yours<\/em> (Downtown Records) in January.
