{"id":42667,"date":"2011-05-03T10:08:26","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T14:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/home.bates.edu\/?p=42667"},"modified":"2018-06-04T09:21:54","modified_gmt":"2018-06-04T13:21:54","slug":"video-performance-santo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/news\/2011\/05\/03\/video-performance-santo\/","title":{"rendered":"Video: Performance of &quot;Santo&quot; during Modern Dance Company tribute to Leonard Plavin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The dance &#8220;Santo&#8221; was performed during the <a href=\"http:\/\/home.bates.edu\/views\/2011\/05\/02\/plavin-tribute\/\">Bates Modern Dance Company  reunion tribute<\/a> to the late Leonard Plavin, who photographed Bates  modern dancers during the 42 years that his wife, Marcy Plavin, directed  the College&#8217;s dance program.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Santo,&#8221; with music composed and performed  by George MacDonald &#8217;10, was choreographed by Erin Gottwald &#8217;98 in  collaboration with Laura Iverson Beare &#8217;01 and Sachi Feris &#8217;99, and  performed by Gottwald and Beare.
