Photograph by Phyllis Graber Jensen\/Bates College.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Here is some familiar and some late-breaking news from Information and Library Services this summer:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> You all experienced the migration to Google Apps for Education:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/email.bates.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">email.bates.edu<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/calendar.bates.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">calendar.bates.edu<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We continue to develop the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/campusconnect\/resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Campus Connect resources site<\/a>. Stay tuned for later phases of this project that is improving communications on the campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> We are starting the phased project to improve the coverage and speed of the wireless network, this summer concentrating on the large student residences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> In preparation for remodeling Ladd Library into the Learning Commons, we welcome the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/math-stat-workshop\/\">Math and Statistics Workshop<\/a> to its new ground-floor location in Ladd.
