{"id":5721,"date":"2008-09-16T14:16:08","date_gmt":"2008-09-16T18:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/batesthisweek.wordpress.com\/?p=502"},"modified":"2015-06-26T13:25:00","modified_gmt":"2015-06-26T17:25:00","slug":"poet-craig","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/news\/2008\/09\/16\/poet-craig\/","title":{"rendered":"Poet Craig Morgan Teicher &#039;01 returns for reading"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Craig Morgan Teicher &#8217;01 returns to Bates to read from his award-winning book of poetry, <em>Brenda is in the Room and Other Poems<\/em>, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in Skelton Lounge, Chase Hall, 56 Campus Ave.<\/p>\n<p>This event, sponsored by the Bates English department, is open to the public and free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>Teicher&#8217;s debut volume won the 2007 Colorado Prize for Poetry and has received high critical praise.
