Red Baraat brings ‘bhangra’ and brass to the Olin Concert Hall stage.<\/p><\/div>\n

Demonstrating the bold diversity of music that graces the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall at Bates College, one September weekend features two very different performances.<\/p>\n

An evening of chamber music<\/a> featuring Maine musicians and music by Mozart, Faure and Dvorak takes place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.<\/p>\n

At the same time the following evening, the world-music band Red Baraat<\/a> performs. The Olin Arts Center is located at 75 Russell St.<\/p>\n

Admission for Saturday\u2019s event is free, but tickets are required and can be requested by emailing olinarts@bates.edu.<\/p>\n

Admission to Red Baraat is $15 \/ $10, available at batestickets.com<\/a>. Free tickets are available for the first 100 seniors or students. To reserve, please email olinarts@bates.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
