Hello from Bates! <\/strong>Here\u2019s a revised listing of public events at the college from Oct. 5-31, 2012.<\/p>\n

Please note<\/strong> that information for three events has been corrected. The Parents & Family Weekend dance concerts<\/strong> take place Oct. 6 and 7, not 5 and 6. And Pat Griffin’s talk Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation in College Athletics<\/em><\/strong> happens on the 11th, not the 12th.<\/p>\n

In addition, admission to Global Lens film screenings<\/strong> is free, not paid, as we had previously indicated. We regret the errors.<\/p>\n

Finally, events have been added: A panel discussion exploring religious perspectives on marriage equality on Oct. 8, and a talk by the president of the Frederick Douglass Family Foundation on Oct. 24. Updates to this listing will be issued as events are added, dropped or updated.<\/p>\n
