Peter Gomes &#8217;65, who died in February 2011, adopts the firm expression familiar to his many friends and admirers. <\/p>\n<p>That day, Gomes told the incoming class that &#8220;the day will come when you&#8217;ll discover the necessity of relying upon your inner resources of heart, mind and spirit.
