Fingerstyle guitarist Jonathan Brown opens the 2014 Concerts on the Quad series.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bates’ summer music series, Concerts on the Quad, returns for 2014 with music ranging from fingerstyle guitar to folk-rock.<\/p>\n

Taking place at\u00a06:30\u00a0on the Coram Library porch on the Historic Quad, at College Street and Campus Avenue, these concerts are open to the public at no cost.<\/p>\n

Audience members are encouraged to bring picnics and chairs or blankets. The rain site is the nearby Peter J. Gomes Chapel, also on the Quad at 275 College St. For more information, please call 207-753-6953.<\/p>\n

July 17<\/strong>:\u00a0A fingerstyle guitar virtuoso and singer, Jonathan Brown<\/strong> brings a little Tennessee twang wherever he goes, be it his hometown Nashville or the TV series of the same name. This unique style shines through in both original compositions and his re-imagining of classics.<\/p>\n
