The Cultural Programming Committee (CPC) was established in the Fall of 2014. The purposed of the committee is to create volunteer avenues which students can become involved and invested in OIE in-house programming. In addition, the OIE continuously seeks to program to the needs of the students.
The goal of the CPC is to foster a sense of community within the Office of Intercultural Education among all Bates students through programming which focuses on the exploration of our differences.
The CPC has hosted events such as: 80’s & 90’s weekend events, parents weekend socials, community-run Haunted House, to traditional finals week Waffle Nights!
Committee Members are voluntary positions open to all current student! You can become a committee member at any point during the year. If you are interested in becoming a committee member please review, sign, and return the Cultural Programming Committee Agreement to Lexie Mucci in the OIE.
