Noel: We are going to start with speeches for Pres, VP, secretary.\u00a0 We are going to keep these short 30 sec or under.\u00a0 There will be google form sent out after the meeting, open until Friday afternoon.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to vote !!<\/div>\n

Kurt: Hey, I\u2019m involved in the Outing Club in some way or another.\u00a0 I would be happy to be president.\u00a0 Some things to consider: 1) I want website to come to fruition 2) I have experience with logistics, AESOP coordinator 3.) I want Outing Club linked with OIE. I\u2019m an all or nothing type of guy.\u00a0 And I have a relaxed fall semester.\u00a0 Vote for me if you like.<\/div>\n

Sarg: (aka Matthew) I\u2019ve been involved in the club for awhile.\u00a0 I would like to help contribute and learn as VP, and eventually become president.\u00a0 Also nominated for secretary, I would show up for every meeting.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Eli: I would be super stoked.\u00a0 I have lots of experience in leadership positions.\u00a0 I\u2019m president of Club Ski Team, I\u2019ve managed budgets well.\u00a0 I know the inter-workings of Bates college, better than I would like to admit.\u00a0 Nick Drezler and I are homies… just saying.\u00a0 There\u2019s been a lot of talk, but people don\u2019t get out there and do it. I\u2019ve done it.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Thorn: I\u2019ve had a couple leadership roles in the Outing Club.\u00a0 E room director, water sports, and more.\u00a0 I want to make directors accountable for leading trips and hope Nate\u2019s calendar continues.<\/div>\n

Kurt: One extra thing, I would like to add a google drive to keep things organized and relevant.<\/div>\n

Thanks to Maggie and Danielle for being awesome E-Room workers! We really appreciate it.<\/div>\n

Judy: We have senior awards that are given out each year to someone who has contributed the most to the Outing Club (1 for man, 1 for woman).\u00a0 We have to vote for them before last meeting (April 5th<\/span><\/span>).\u00a0 Kim will be sending out a google form with all the seniors\u2019 names on them.\u00a0 So look out for that and vote!<\/div>\n

Miles: WFR is happening. It was close, but we are pulling through.\u00a0 There is one open space, so hop on that fast.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Aud: The trip with the Women of Color club went really well.\u00a0 We got a lot of positive feedback, and they possibly want to do more trips in the future.\u00a0 Thanks to everyone who helped out.<\/div>\n

Noel: Mica Burnhart will be on campus 4:15pm<\/span><\/span> next Thursday, showing movie she made about climbers, biologist, conservationists in Mozambique.\u00a0 The film is called \u201cNamuli.\u201d She will be giving a talk on what she did on this exhibition, which you don\u2019t necessarily see in the movie.<\/div>\n

Trips:<\/b><\/div>\n

Audrey: Justine, Eli, and I are organizing \u201cGaper Day.\u201d\u00a0 We want to do it the day LV hosts pond skimming.\u00a0 Keep a look-out ! Trying to get as many people out there as possible.<\/div>\n

Noel: It was warm out. I got my hammock out.<\/div>\n

Aud: It will be 11 degrees on Saturday.<\/div>\n
