We have so many trips going out! Woohoo!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New trip organizing protocol:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure to put your thing\/all info in the calendar\/check if van is available \u2192 Email OPM\u2019s telling them \u2192 they let you know all is well \u2192 can put on Bates Engage + commons orders\/all else needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum time to put something on Bates Engage is 2 days within its happening\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2192 Make sure to have things on Bates Engage early!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bates Engage stuff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Catie contacted Bates Engage about issues with emails\/delays with Bates Engage \u2192 they don\u2019t know what&#8217;s wrong (womp womp)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trip Leaders: Put our trip cancellation policy in Bates Engage!!\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Then you don\u2019t have to email people extra<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other updates\/things:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One more spot for WFA training if anyone needs theirs recertified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EVO trips\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strongly recommend belay experience (don\u2019t need to be certified at EVO but do need to be able to prove you know how)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Van key drop off system outside Catie&#8217;s Office\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you need a credit card for gas it&#8217;s in there already as well (w\/ envelope for receipts)&#8211;> can drop off after<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot scan into campus life on weekends \u2190 make sure to pick up before weekend\/coordinate a different spot? Outside of E-room?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will have old fashioned sign-out sheet that must be filled out (where\/who has keys when)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to run canoe trip talk to Catie or Hayden to get trailer trained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OPM\u2019s meet with Catie weekly on wednesday afternoons; ask them if you want them to ask her anything<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other trip ideas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bike trip?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mores Mountain Mac n\u2019 Cheese?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BOC banquet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With snow sculptures?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other nefarious exciting things?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leadership Adventures? (Lili)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fun little trips for leadership team\/trip leaders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There&#8217;s an island close to riverlands state park &#8211; canoe, camp out on the island (first come\/first serve camp spot)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People drive their own vehicle; we send from personal email accounts (not through Bates Engage, not Bates funded)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students can&#8217;t drive their own personal vehicles for a BOC funded\/affiliated trip\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cannot be funded with your own personal car<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can&#8217;t take canoe trailer with personal car<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do we want more intense outings to be available to everyone in the club? (Heidi)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2192 Yes, in general we have to trust that people will show up for serious commitment events especially when other non-bates community people are involved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are going to be doing the same no\/show policy for community engagement things as well<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who wants to help with halloween\/candy handing out? Heidi will send out an email!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have activities other than just candy too? Fairy houses\/cornhole\/little field games<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How to have trip leaders\/leadership everyone in contact with each other?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2192 Slack!!
