Hello, Bates Families –

We have a few brief updates for you this week.

• Students have just received the latest update on testing trends. Of particular interest to families will be the revisions to college guest policies for academic and administrative departments in the Arts and Athletics.

• Did you know that Bates is carbon neutral and one of the top 5 greenest colleges in the country? Sustainability is of broad interest on campus; some students serve as campus EcoReps, while others pursue coursework or summer research or help identify possible sustainable alternatives for campus operations.
