Our team is hard at work preparing a full lineup of events and opportunities to welcome the Class of 2030 and their families into the Bates community\u2014from Summer Welcome Receptions in cities across the country to helpful orientation webinars that will guide you through your student\u2019s transition to campus life. These events are designed to help you connect, learn, and feel right at home in the Bates family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Welcome Receptions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Summer Welcome Receptions offers incoming Bates families and students<\/strong> the opportunity to casually meet each other in regions across the country. You can register for an event in your hometown, or if you\u2019ll be traveling this summer, for the event that is most convenient for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep an eye out for events to be announced in Philadelphia, Chicago<\/em>, Washington, D.C., and more! <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family Orientation Webinars<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Orientation webinars offer family members of incoming Bates students<\/strong> an opportunity to get up to speed on their student\u2019s transition to life on campus. Webinars are held after the beginning of the academic year so that as students start classes and activities, families have timely information on supporting them and the many resources available to students during their time at Bates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
