Please encourage students to reach out to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/first-year-experience\/\">First-Year Experience team<\/a> with any questions. If your student has not yet activated their Garnet Gateway account, remind them to check their Admission portal for instructions.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you would like access to Garnet Gateway to view your student\u2019s financial aid, billing, or other information, your student must grant you access <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/financial-services\/costs-and-payment\/paying-your-bill\/granting-access-for-parents\/\">using this process<\/a>. If you encounter difficulties, our <a href=\"https:\/\/bates.teamdynamix.com\/TDClient\/75\/Portal\/Home\/\">Help Desk team<\/a> can assist.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>First-year student arrival is Wednesday, August 31. International students have received an update from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/student-affairs\/student-support-and-advising\/international-students\/\">Global Education Team<\/a> about their arrival on August 28 and additional pre-orientation activities. Fall student-athletes should consult coaches directly about team arrival dates.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Details continue to be added for our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/parents\/events-for-class-of-2026-families\/\">in-person and virtual Summer Welcome events<\/a>.
