They will hear shortly about their First-Year Seminar (FYS) assignments. Next week, starting around August 3, students will hear from an academic advisor who will help them finalize their other fall semester course selections by the August 9 deadline.<br>&nbsp;<br>Please remind your students to check their Bates email address for updates, information about a student-only \u201cAsk Me Anything\u201d session on course registration, and resources in Lyceum. If they have questions, students should reach out to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bates.us3.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=67a8a039e704ed3338e24c25a&amp;id=ad757d1f83&amp;e=b5c1e3150b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">First-Year Experience team<\/a>. Information about AESOP trips, housing, and roommate assignments will be released the second week of August.<br>&nbsp;<br>On the parent side, we encourage you to participate in our&nbsp;<strong>Virtual Welcome Series<\/strong>, if you haven\u2019t yet had a chance to join a session. These Zoom gatherings provide a parent-to-parent perspective on the Bates experience. Learn more and register at the links below.
