As the fall semester approaches, here are some important dates and reminders to help your students ease back into campus life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Arrival for returning students:<\/strong>\u00a0We welcomed fall student-athletes back to campus earlier this week for pre-season training. All other returning students may move into residences between\u00a0<strong>Sunday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0Students should make their first stop at Commons.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/housing\/residential-calendar\/\">View the residential calendar \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First week of Fall Semester:<\/strong>\u00a0The first meal on the board plan for returning students will be dinner on\u00a0<strong>Monday, September 1<\/strong>. The Add\/Drop Period for Fall 2025 course schedules opens on\u00a0<strong>Tuesday, September 2<\/strong>, and classes begin on\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, September 3<\/strong>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bates.edu\/academic-calendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">View the academic calendar \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A Note on Textbooks from the College Store:<\/strong>\u00a0Textbooks are available to buy online at our partner site via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bates.ecampus.com\/\">bates.ecampus.com<\/a>. Books purchased from eCampus can be picked up by students at Post &amp; Print like any other incoming mail or packages, and digital purchases are immediately available for use. Students received additional information on the new process via their Bates email.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/store.bates.edu\/pages\/student-resources\">Visit the College Store resources page \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Back to Bates:<\/strong>\u00a0Register now for our annual Alumni and Family Weekend,\u00a0<strong>October 3\u20134, 2025<\/strong>!
