As we look ahead to the rest of the winter semester, we\u2019re sharing a few timely updates to help you stay connected with campus and support your students in the weeks ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-lightgray-bg has-dark-color has-text-color\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Upcoming Recesses<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>February Recess:&nbsp;<strong>Saturday, February 14 \u2013 Sunday, February 22<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>March Recess:&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday, March 18 \u2013 Sunday, March 22<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During both recess periods, residences remain open for students who stay on campus.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bates.edu\/housing\/residential-calendar\/\">View the&nbsp;Bates Residential Calendar \u2192<\/a><\/strong><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Winter Carnival:<\/strong>&nbsp;Students recently enjoyed Winter Carnival with activities throughout the week that brought the campus together. The week wrapped up with the beloved Puddle Jump, a 50+ year Bates tradition, as students braved the icy waters of Lake Andrews.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/picturestories.bates.edu\/frost-and-furious\/\">Check out&nbsp;photos of this year\u2019s tradition in action \u2192<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Great Day to be a Bobcat:<\/strong>&nbsp;Bates\u2019 annual giving day is coming up on March 12.
