NIST Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships<\/p>\n
On November 19th (Tuesday), there will be a set of presentations regarding the NIST Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program, featuring a research presentation by Joanna Moody (’14) on the work she did at NIST-Gaithersburg this summer. Presentations are as follows:<\/p>\n

\nThis will be held in New Commons Room 201 from noon – 1:00, with plenty of time for Q&A. Students & faculty are welcome to bring lunch up from Commons. Faculty are asked to RSVP in advance so we have a rough count of how many lunches we’ll be paying for.<\/p>\n

\nThough NIST fellowships have eligibility restrictions (students must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents; must have declared at least one STEM major; and must not be graduating seniors), all students interested in Joanna’s research presentation and\/or considering science careers are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
